Treatment Philosophy

Emily believes that each person's health journey is unique. Her treatments begin with a thorough consultation where she listens carefully to concerns, health history and wellness goals. This personalised approach allows her to develop targeted acupuncture protocols that address both immediate symptoms and underlying imbalances, promoting deep healing and lasting wellness. This personalised treatment plan creates a dynamic where ancient wisdom meets modern wellbeing.

Stems and Branches theory focuses on cycles and transformations of QI that impact individuals both internally and externally. Ancient Chinese observers noted nature's cycles, like day and night and changing seasons then connected them to health, a change in one part affects the whole. Key concepts include the duality of Yin and Yang and the Five Elements which are essential in various acupuncture approaches. Stems and Branches acupuncture enables a practitioner to work with natural rhythms and the individual's constitutional strengths and weaknesses for better patient health. The aim of treatment is to address the root cause of symptoms.

Emily combines evidence based acupuncture with compassionate care, empowering clients to achieve balance and vitality. Emily offers a free 15 minute introductory telephone consultation.
